This 15-60 minute professional development session explores what actually improves learning in classrooms, drawing on evidence-informed principles and practical classroom application.

The session focuses on the difference between learning and performance, and examines strategies that reliably support long-term learning, including retrieval practice, explicit instruction and modelling, feedback that leads to action, and metacognitive approaches.

Designed for teachers, middle leaders, and senior leaders, this CPD supports reflection on current practice and encourages small, sustainable changes that respect teacher workload.
